i have moved

i have moved........... from now on i will be found spreading myself out and playing in my very own space on the 9th floor in room 7 ........or if not there........ probably having lunch at my favourite little cafe with tiffany, who will be holding the fort on level 5.

i am getting rid of my landline, which just doesn't get a lot of use (mobile is still 0415 555 808) and have a new fax number (03) 8677 7620 ....... apart from that everything is staying the same.

am looking forward to some visits

barnacle cufflinks

more barnacle series! ..... i guess i like this little design quite a bit. this is a pair of cufflinks in sterling silver i did last year sometime in november together with some new leaf cufflinks.

two rings from the barnacle series. they are 18ct palladium white gold and one of them has four little sparkling diamonds set into the band.

gingko leaf ring

this one was a commission for a ring in 9ct white gold with a gingko leaf design through e.g.etal. it is also the favourite tree of my mother and as my parents have both lost their wedding bands over the years (my mum actually threw my dads ring into the rubbish never to be found again, when she secretly got rid of some old jeans worn to exhaustion by my dad.....well the ring was in the pockets!) ...... anyhow it’s their golden wedding anniversary in two years and they have commissioned me to do a similar design for them. am quite excited about it and am looking forward to another trip to europe to hand it over personally ;-)

Penthouse Mouse is at the moment empty space that will become a pop-up style shop as part of the L'Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival Cultural Program.
Launching on 22nd February it will house the current Autumn Winter ranges from your favourite Australian labels alongside site specific works by some amazing young installation artists.
i’m really excited to have been invited to be part of this together with fellow jewellers vikki kassioras and natalia milosz-piekarska. check out their website www.penthousemouse.com and pop by.
the final closing day for the store is the 9th of march.

these are earrings in sterling silver with oxidised lines, which are part of the barnacle series. they look nice with some black diamonds as well, but didn’t manage to take pix in time.

here is an image of a platinum order i have recently done for studio ingot. i always thought 18ct white gold was beautiful... until i did this ring..... platinum is really nice.

and finally.......after many late nights at work, i am off to europa tomorrow. can’t wait to get a bit of sun and a relaxing break with my parents and some fun with my friends and without thinking too much about jewellery.....at least for a bit!

am in robe (south australia) with mark for the week and have set up a little bench here in our beautiful leaking roof ruin. it’s been pretty cold and we’ve got the cosy fires going all day round....and loving it (also been watching far too much get smart)

kitchenette : it is a group of work that revolves around wearable kitchenware for the modern kitcheness or hausfrau.
found kitchen objects of a different era and playful and colourful shapes, might sweeten life's little tasks - but what lurks within?
pudding forms, sugar tops, salt and pepper shakers, plastic measuring spoons, door vents and cookie shapes have been the inspiration for this series of work.
